You may have noticed that some businesses seem to operate more efficiently than other businesses. While there are many variables in place, the distance between some successes might be just as simple implementing cloud computing services. Indeed, with Cloud based WMS from Meade Willis, many companies have seen improvement in efficiency stemming out of a reduction in redundancies to speeding up invoice processing to streamlining daily operations in the quickest and most consistent way possible. At the end of the day, cloud-based services should help you manage your business easier so you can have more energy and more time to focus on other, more personal, aspects of business that really matter.
CLOUD COMPUTING SERVICE MODELS
In terms of implementing cloud computing, you have to choose from three models. These basic cloud computing service models are:
- Infrastructure as A Service
- Platform as A Service
- Software as A Service
INFRASCTRUCTURE AS A SERVICE
Also known as IaaS, this basic cloud computing service model provides highlighted access to a simple hardware and server storage setup. In addition, you will also enjoy high network capacity with basic management software applications.
PLATFORM AS A SERVICE
Also known as PaaS, this basic cloud computing service model provides highlighted access to the same operations and technical capabilities as Iaas, but with added and more detailed services. The additional services focus on developing new software or employing new software applications created by the customer
SOFTWARE AS A SERVICE
Also known as SaaS, this basic cloud computing service model provides highlighted access to the same operations and technical capabilities as PaaS but a more integrated approach. The SaaS suite of software applications continue to expand in diversity and capabilities.
CLOUD COMPUTING DEPLOYMENT MODELS
In terms of cloud computing deployment, there are also three basic models:
- Private Cloud Deployment
- Community Cloud Deployment
- Public Cloud Deployment
PRIVATE CLOUD DEPLOYMENT
This basic deployment model involves cloud computing on a private intranet server with an internal host. This model is intended for use within just one organization.
COMMUNITY CLOUD DEPLOYMENT
This basic deployment model incorporates a wider net of cloud computing services accessible to a specific community (more than a single organization). This model is intended for use among organizations who want to share information with each other.
PUBLIC CLOUD DEPLOYMENT
This basic deployment model, provides a service infrastructure that is easily and readily available to anyone who has internet access.
