How to connect an android phone to a projector

Today I’m going to show you how to connect our Android phone to a projector, so you can get more advantage.

So if you work outside making presentations, as if you’re going to a friend’s house and take your movies on the phone, or you have an application like YOMVI to watch football streaming, do not miss this article that interests you.

MHL Adapter Cable

For some time now, most mobile phones incorporate high-definition video outputs. This output is HDMI and can be presented in 3 or more different variants. The HDMI can be normal and it’s too big for a phone.

Micro HDMI size that connects to the phone and on the other end has normal HDMI to connect it to the projector. or through the USB with a MHL adapter or with your own adapter. It does not matter the connection to your phone, because what interests us is that all end up on HDMI.

If we have a projector in HD, that is, with a minimum resolution of 1280 × 720, we can connect our phone using the type of cable that leads to the HDMI and we already have a portable player that is our phone and a screen with our projector, since we can Project than any wall.

In theory it should come out the screen of our first phone. If not, you may have to enter screen settings and turn on the video output.

With this ready, we can see movies, photos or whatever we want.

Composite video or AV-out

Jack 3.5 3 RCA

This output was taken at the beginning of the phones, which is already old, but I want you to see that you can take advantage of any phone and do not need to be the last to enjoy some things. Of course, the quality of this Salia is quite inferior to high definition. But if your projector isn’t HD, it’ll come from pearls.

As I said, there are projectors that are not HD, because they have a resolution normally 800 × 600, but good enough to see a DVD movie in standard quality, which has a resolution of 720 × 480.

In the projector, this output is presented in the form of a yellow RCA connector. Unless the projector carries speakers, it does not bring the other 2 that are red and white.

On our phones, this video output is on the headphone output. So if we know that the terminal has the function of video output, we need a cable on one side Jack 3.5 and the other 3 outputs red, white and yellow, the latter is the one that we connect to projector.

As in the previous case, we may need to activate it from the screen setup menu.

I leave the link to the cable we talked about, but eye, do not assure its operation, because each phone is different and the internal connection may be different:

Usb

This is no longer a video output, but if it is something we can do with almost any phone.

It turns out that many projectors have USB port to connect pendrives, hard disks and any type of external memory. And I guess you know, our phone is a good external memory.

So we can connect our phone to a projector via USB and access the files. In this case it is the projector that makes the player, so we will control everything from it.

Conclusion

Our phone is a good player that we can connect to any device and take full power.
